Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy
Physical therapy is an essential part of overcoming musculoskeletal conditions. Your physician may order physical therapy before, after or instead of surgery. Our licensed physical therapists have specialized in orthopaedic conditions, and work with our fellowship-trained physicians to establish treatment protocols specific to each patient.
Physical therapy is an integral part of treating sports and activity injuries, spinal conditions, joint replacements, shoulder arthroscopy or replacement, fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, tendonitis, work-related injuries, foot, ankle and many other conditions. Physical therapy is available at the Little Rock and Sherwood offices.
Hand therapy, also known as occupational therapy, is an integral part of healing conditions of the upper extremity. Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics’ licensed occupational therapists work closely with our fellowship-trained hand surgeons to customize splints and administer treatment protocols specific to each patient.
Hand/occupational therapy is located just steps away from the hand clinic at our Little Rock location.
