Wayne Bruffett grew up all over the South. He was sandwiched between two brothers and blessed to have wonderful parents who instilled in him a great work ethic. He knew at an early age that he wanted to become a doctor. He attended Baylor University for his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston’s renowned Texas Medical Center. His residency in orthopaedics was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences here in Little Rock. He then did a fellowship at the University of Colorado. This fellowship provided comprehensive training in the surgical treatment of both pediatric and adult spinal conditions. After finishing his fellowship in Colorado, he came back to the great state of Arkansas to begin his private practice in 1998. He has been blessed with gifted spine partners here at Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics and continues to work diligently in his profession. In the meantime, he has had four beautiful children with his wife. He spends his little free time chasing these kids and working on the family farm. They reside here in Little Rock, and he continues the example his parents set forth in him.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
