National Hip Fracture Database Releases Helpful Hip Guide

“Hip! Hip! Hooray!” A booklet covering answers and information to 12 common questions about hip fracture care has been released by the NHFD.

Hip fractures are something that can be very difficult to treat for a variety of reasons.

You may not be able to stabilize a hip as easily as a fractured leg or arm. With a hip, you have to be cautious about your every move and could aggravate your hip by simply sleeping or sitting the wrong way.

We never wish for someone to have to endure a hip surgery. However, if you or someone you know does, we hope this resource will be helpful.
