Marathon training can be challenging, and it’s important to have healthy bones and joints throughout the process. When training for a marathon, setting goals and having motivation is key.

Nutrition: It’s important for long distance runners to consume carbohydrates. Carbohydrates provide fuel for runners. Runners also need to consume protein. Make sure you’re getting the proper nutrition to remain strong.

Hydration: If you’re going on a long distance run, you need to bring water with you. Always rehydrate after your run.

Avoiding Injury: On the days you don’t run, make sure you recover and rest. You should not run every day. If you experience any soreness, be sure to apply ice throughout the day.
