Dr. Eric Gordon

Eric H. Gordon, M.D.

Dr. Eric Gordon was born and raised in Russellville, Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he received a degree in psychology. Following college, he spent the next 9 years of his life in and around the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he earned his medical degree and then completed residency in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Gordon then moved to Los Angeles, California where he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute - www.scoi.com. During that time, he worked closely with Dr. Stephen Snyder one of the foremost experts on shoulder arthroscopy in the world as well as several other renowned physicians. He was involved with the care of both professional and college athletes from UCLA, the Oakland A’s, and the Los Angeles Clippers. Dr. Gordon’s specializes in care of shoulder and knee problems, fracture care, and sports-related injuries. He serves as team physician and orthopaedic surgeon for the Arkansas Travelers, Arkansas Twisters, Arkansas Baptist College, North Little Rock High School, and Catholic High School. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr Gordon is blessed with a lovely wife and three young boys. In his spare time, he can often be found in the gym lifting weights or pounding out some miles on the treadmill. He also enjoys bicycling, either on the road or through the mountains. But for real relaxation, he turns to the Little Red River or wherever good trout fishing can be found.
