David N. Collins, M.D.

David N. Collins, M.D. practices orthopaedic surgery with Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is an active member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and frequently participates as a faculty instructor for both American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons continuing education courses regarding the shoulder. He has many presentations, scientific manuscripts and chapters dealing with shoulder arthroplasty to his credit. Dr. Collins is a paid consultant for DePuy, a Johnson and Johnson Company and participates extensively in their education courses. His practice has been distinguished as a center for the education of orthopaedic surgeons in the method of the Delta CTA™ Reverse Shoulder System and in the method of Global Shoulder Arthroplasty. Dr. Collins completed shoulder and elbow fellowship training at the University of Washington and adult reconstruction (hip and knee) fellowship training at the University of Arkansas. His residency was in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa.
